There are certainly a few contexts I can think of where some people, for particular reasons, might better “do their part” for the world by not getting married and having children...but I feel pretty confident in saying that most modern people who aren’t having kids on purpose don’t fall within that pretty narrow subset. Refusing family life so you can have more money to blow on self-indulgence and “living your best life” is not flourishing as a person. It reflects a disposition of selfishness, not of love and sacrifice, and it acts to intensify that disposition by indulging it, feeding it, and giving it space to grow. The laboratory for creating selflessness, love of others, cooperation and empathy is the family.
Remember that Christianity rose from Rome, where infanticide was normal, slavery was accepted, sexual degeneracy of the kind that would shock even the American left was celebrated, human beings were worshipped, political freedom didn’t exist, and children were burned alive as street torches.
Evil will not win, in the end. Either people will act to reverse course voluntarily, or things will get so bad that they won’t have any other choice. Anything that cannot go on forever must eventually come to an end.
It makes me wish there could be a third impeachment so he could beat that one too.
Meanwhile the judge presiding over the case is also a juror who has already decided that he is going to vote to convict the accused.

Yeah I work in schools. You see this all the time. Teenagers get away with murder. You would be absolutely shocked at how many things you reasonably assumed would land a person in jail actually carry no penalties whatsoever. And the kids know it. They have come to believe that the world has no consequences.

I won’t impugn his faith. I don’t know. What I do know is that when I saw him buddy-buddy with the Dems in the Senate on the evening of the 6th, I realized that none of these phonies actually cares what happens. It’s a game to them. They’re playing RISK with each other in there. Well for us, it really does matter. It’s not about policy legacies and library endowments. It’s about whether my children eat and whether they get taken away from me because I teach them right from wrong. On January 6th, I stopped caring about it, because I realized they don’t actually care about it.
