I am about tired of these damn superhero movies.
Jokes on them: there are no laws for liberals.
Underrated comment.
Where do I sign up?
Even if it mean voting for Democrats. These people don’t represent you any better than the Dems do.
Even if their only opponents are Democrats. What’s the difference? I’d vote for a Dem to defeat these empty suits before I’d help them take up space in Congress again.
They all still think they're playing the game. They don't realize how serious it is. We're back to the days of Romney and McCain. You play nice and they push you off a cliff. Trump was the only one who understood this.
Appreciate it, Mike.
You're still off the team.
My local parish church. My family home.
He’s the richest man in the world. People need to get in contact with him and see what, if anything, he can do to help us.
What? People wearing masks outside on a hiking trail? Where do you live?
I wear a mask everywhere I’m supposed to because I think of it as (1) a courtesy to other people who are paranoid but nonetheless are fine people and (2) an inconsequential inconvenience no different than ten thousand other laws/rules/ordinances I already follow (like having to wear a shirt).
All that said, I found the above story hilarious specifically because I don’t understand your rage about it, but I appreciate that level of commitment. I’m imagining myself in the role of diligent Walmart greeter, routinely politely asking people if they need a mask, when all of a sudden my man explodes in a torrent of cursing and abuse like the dad in A Christmas Story trying to fix the furnace.
I laughed so hard I cried, not joking. People like you make the world an exciting place to be. Upvoted.
Haha...I took what he said as it sounds like it never happened...like it sounds like one of those stories that didn’t actually happen, not that it necessarily didn’t.
But then I read your comment and now I’m not sure. Maybe he did mean to imply it didn’t happen at all.
I was once a liberal. The bias of the media is what flipped me. This was back in 2005. You never know what might do it.
He’s a phony and it’s a work. They’re all in it together. It doesn’t matter to them because they’ll still be rich, still have their sycophants, still get libraries named after them. Vote Democrat rather than let him win again.
This gets me fired up!!!
My buddy texted me last night and said he couldn’t believe they were deplatforming so many.
My liberal coworker said it was wrong what they were doing.
It’s like the old boxing advice: “It’s not what he’s doing to you, it’s what you’re NOT doing to him.” Let’s go!
First thing: their advantage right now is too strong. Sorry. We need to have a civil war inside our own party. Every single “Republican” who has sold out Trump, paid more attention to one act of trespassing than to months of rioting and violence, or has elbow-bumped with Nancy Pelosi has got to go. As politicians, they are worthless.
I would vote for a Democrat if it meant defeating those losers. They are done. Then, when the party gets the message, we try again.
I teach ancient history in high school. Literally the lesson yesterday was the fall of the Republic, and I got to tell the story of Brutus and Caesar. I have to admit...I got a little emotional.
(1) Supreme Court decisions change.
(B) You declare secession, you don’t ask for secession.
(4) I’m fairly sure we weren’t “allowed” to secede from Great Britain, either.
I say do it, and if they contest it, you basically take the civil disobedience playbook and apply it writ large.
Remember also that without Texas, other red states would be doomed to permanent minority status. This would encourage them to join with Texas.
There is very little chance that the United States government would actually go to war to stop it, particularly if certain concessions were made. The 1860s was a different time, different mindset. They’d huff and they’d puff...they may even take a breath or two...but total war? No stomach for it. They’d give up and give in in short order.
That’s going to happen anyway.
LET’S GO!!! I will move there. No questions asked. Pass it. I’m coming.
Not good enough. Secede. We’re ready to contribute to the prosperity of the Republic of Texas. Do the right thing.
