I'm more of a lurker than poster here. But this has hit me hard. I had to say goodbye to my best friend on Saturday afternoon. When my dad passed away a few years ago, Lincoln came to live with my family. He had just lost his best friend- he decided that I'd be his new bestie. He never allowed me to be out of his sight. He always curled up next to me and was always there when I needed him. He loved me and my family unconditionally. He had a seizure on Thursday night, and by Saturday afternoon we knew it was time. Man, I'm gonna miss him.
