This article doesn't actually explain what he is trying to do. It is much worse than they say. He's trying to steal ventilators from the rest of the state for New York City. So if you are in Syracuse, Rochester, Buffalo, Albany, or Binghamton he's going to try to take all the ventilators that don't have a person currently attached to them. Then saying it is okay because New York City will pay for them or give them back later.

The catch is that these areas are starting to get hit by the Corona Virus and are pre-peak. They are going to need their ventilators, possibly in mere days. We all know NYC isn't giving them back in time. He knows damn well it is impossible to get replacements, plus if they found replacements he would steal those too. Plus all the COVID cases in the Northeast are basically NYCs fault. Coumo doesn't care because a lot of these areas lean right.

Coumo hates the rest of New York

“The Republican Party candidates are running against the SAFE Act — it was voted for by moderate Republicans who run the Senate! Their problem is not me and the Democrats; their problem is themselves. Who are they? Are they these extreme conservatives who are right-to-life, pro-assault-weapon, anti-gay? Is that who they are? Because if that’s who they are and they’re the extreme conservatives, they have no place in the state of New York, because that’s not who New Yorkers are.” - Andrew Coumo

He's sacrificing people in the rest of the state to try to save people in NYC.

I don’t care if it’s a lame reason, I don’t care if it’s out of spite and shouldn’t be, I don’t give a fuck at this point I’ve come to hate my own party and the insane lunacy going on with them more than I’ve ever felt distaste for a right winger.

A party going off the rails and going completely crazy is really good reason to defect. If you continue to support them they won't change and come back to sanity. The fastest way to force change is by swapping sides.

The problem is the housing there is also crazy expensive so that 125G doesn't go as far as it sounds like it would.

A lot of companies have a cafeteria on site where you can buy lunch.

If you have a big building with a lot of employees it buys you productivity. People will take longer lunches if they go out to eat. If they can quickly grab lunch on site you will have more working lunches.

Their preferred tactic right now seems to be only letting them give the drugs to people who are severely ill in the hopes it will be too late.

She was a successful television actress. She's one of those one hit wonder TV actresses. She did one show, but she did it for a long time. Suits was really popular for a few years and could ride that out for a few more.

That would really hurt tamiflu, which barely works. The stuff might knock off half a day... maybe, if you take it right as you get sick. It has some pretty nasty side effects too.

Originally they claimed it would have prevent you from getting sick if you were exposed, that it prevented severe cases of the flu, and that cured you in days. That was all bullshit. The WHO helped the drug companies peddle it too.

There is room for both. Treatment for now and a vaccine for later. It is possible some form of COVID-19 will exist in the future and have annual waves like the flu. So you have a vaccine to prevent it and treatment to handle whatever the vaccine doesn't cure.

Heck, the whole reason tonic water got invented is because British soldiers would take it for malaria. They mixed in more quinine back then and it tasted awful so they also mixed it with gin.

Screenshots of tweets are good practice. They archive the tweet so when twitter takes it down you still have access and a record of what they are trying to silence. Although a link could be tossed in the comments too.

The 80th guy died, they believe he didn't get treatment fast enough and his case was too severe. He died before it could could do anything.

Yeah if you need a 4E there are barely any other choices and none as good. Them being an American company who loves this country is a really nice bonus.

They are trying, but it is difficult. So much of shoe production has been moved overseas. They are slowly bringing back the capabilities to makes those parts in the US and they try to make everything they can in the US.

No, but he was the first person to start documenting it and experimenting with it. He recommended adding the z-pack and some zinc.

I don't know, who do you replace him with?

Biden is a disaster, but I think riding Obama's coat tails is the best strategy they have right now. Hillary Clinton was a god awful candidate and they managed to get the media to carry their water. I think they are genuinely in such a bad place that Biden is their best bet.

They are actually pretty similar and Chloroquine phosphate is also used to treat malaria. Hydroxychloroquine is preferred because it is less toxic and far less likely to cause issues. Chloroquine phosphate will kill you if you overdose.

Hydroxychoroquine is analogue of Chloroquine developed as a safer malaria treatment.

That said, if you take fish tank cleaner you are a fucking moron. It isn't guaranteed to be a safe dose. It can also have impurities that would be toxic, because it isn't meant for humans. It is meant for fish.

It could have just been that China is a terrible place all around. They are a communist regime. They have no problem taking political prisoners or harvesting their organs. They have terrible pollution. Then there is Chinese gutter oil.

It is really hard to pick just one reason to stay out of China.

Their argument, albeit stupid, is that your SSN was a federal identification and tax returns are federal. So the state has no grounds to prosecute.

What they conveniently ignored is that you put the false information on state tax returns, state withholding forms, and state paperwork too. So the state is in fact impacted.

They really just wanted to protect illegals.

This may put your mind at ease, No young kids have died.

They get the illness, but end up experiencing no symptoms. The main reason people are closing schools is because kids are carriers and can get other people sick. You would never suspect they have it, but then they infect Grandma and she dies.

Maybe the janitors or whoever was in charge of burning/disposing of them found a way to make a buck.

That sounds like a very Chinese thing to do.

The other big one is someone who works at the lab could have unknowingly carried it out with them to the wet market. Work with the virus, don't wash your hands, touch stuff at the market, boom pandemic.

Dems vs Republicans is literally socialism vs capitalism in action.

Dems have very strict pecking order determined by the party. The only way to rise in the ranks is with time. That's why all the top democrats are old. It is also why their politicians tend to be weaker. You just have to survive long enough and you get to rise up the ladder.

Republicans on the other hand have a more free market approach. Young, talented Republicans are allowed to rise and established Republicans are allowed to fall. Trump shaking up the order of things is a great example of this.
