This kind of weather in Texas and Louisiana is very unusual. We are prepared for hurricanes. Is Idaho prepared for something very unusual like a hurricane?

The article says the Angela Chao, Mitch’s wife’s sister, was appointed to a non-executive position on he board of the Bank of China in 2016.

  1. what is a non-executive position?
  2. How has this not been all over the news?

Maybe it’s our education system, maybe it’s the propaganda news, but so many Americans have no idea what the rest of the world is like, that they can’t see the many things America has gotten right, only the problems. And they think that those can be fixed with riots and violence.

What does it take to get kicked out of office? Sleeping with a Chinese spy? No Marrying your brother? Flouting immigration laws? Buying votes?

So what if they get kicked off of a committtee?

How can a company just release 33% more shares? Doesn’t that devalue the stock already owned by others?

All the posts I had saved before the split are gone, not too surprisingly. But when I save something now, I still have nothing. Maybe I’m doing it wrong...

My mom told me the story of her brother using poison ivy leaves as a child. Mind you, he denied it to his dying day.

Fortunately I had taken a screen shot a while ago with 3 possibilities. First doesn’t work anymore, 2nd did.

Me too! At first I thought it was our pitiful internet out here in fly over countryside. Thank goodness, I had screen shotted three possible safe zones.

Way back in the day, 1965 or so, my family, 3 kids and 2 parents, lived in Spain. We brought a blunderbuss, a long gun with the tip flared out, as a gift for my uncle in Minnesota. I don’t remember the details of the flights, but it wasn’t til the last flight, that anyone said anything about it. We 3 kids, none older than 14, Each took turns carrying the thing around the airports and onto and off of planes. Boarding the last flight, a stewardess objected. Discussion ensued, the captain agrees to hold it in the cockpit for the duration of the flight. Upon landing, he asked my dad if he could buy it from him.

TLDR- as a child in the early 60s, I carried a blunderbuss through airports and on airplanes as hand luggage pretty much unchallenged.

I was planning to come either by myself or with my SIL. Unfortunately Dec. 30, I tripped over my black lab in the dark and broke my patella, knee cap bone. On crutches, wearing a brace gadget to keep knee still, so I’ll be cheering you on from home! Rally, support Geotus, protect our country, protest the deep state and stop the steal, and befriend the other patriots there. You can do it!

Cremation is no longer forbidden by the Catholic Church. Burial is much more common, but cremation is accepted.

You can get a toilet seat to fit a 5 gallon bucket. Just remember to be careful when driving loaded. Ask me how I know!

Prayers for your family. Will they let you be in the operating room during the c-section? Oh wait, of course not, Covid!!!!! I think my husband wasn’t too nervous during both of mine because he was so busy verifying whether or not my bladder was actually the size of a pea.
