You can make much more with a cure than a treatment. You could charge millions for the cure and the insurance companies would gladly pay for it, as it would cost less than multiple cycles of different therapies.
Make sure you use proper controls when presenting the data (try to disprove your hypothesis), showing normal patterns with Dem senators and prior elections in the same state will make it very difficult to ignore your findings as p-hacking type attempts
