This is disturbing to say the least. Facebook, instagram, etc... are doing more harm then good. I honestly don't know what the answer is but I do think these things are a cancer on society. What good is really coming from these places? Is it your pictures, memories from posting about your day, videos, memes, chatting with family? We had all of this stuff in one form or another before social media took over.
