Hi Guys,
For the first time i got involved with the election. This year I was assigned to collect ballots in my county. Washington is mail in ballot by default. People drop their ballots in collection boxes or mail them. My job was to go to one of these boxes on election night, wait until the polls close at exactly 8pm, lock the ballot box, collect the ballots, and return them to the office to be counted.
Me and one other gentleman were assigned to this small city. At exactly 8 we closed the box and collected the ballots.
First - While we didn't go through them on the spot (that happens back at the office) it was clear a number of people didn't fill their ballot out correctly. Some weren't inside the correct envelope, any envelope, an incorrect envelope. Without the signature envelope, i assume those ballots will be thrown out. PLEASE follow the instructions on your dang ballot.
Second, the whole collection process seemed fair. We used THREE keys to open the ballot box. The collection bag is a special bag with a locking mechanism secured with a metal reinforced zip tie. The ballots are driven back to the office and sorted inside. Very fair and secure in my opinion.
Third - This is the part that made me MAD. Driving back with the ballots to the office, at say, 8:15pm the news was declaring Washington state for biden. Excuse me WTF?
I know for a FACT the ballots in my possession and many others in other cities around Washington had not yet been returned to the office to be counted. I'm a country boy. Many small farming communities exist all around Washington and are remote. It takes time for a car to physically drive to a main office with the ballots. By calling the race before ANY of those ballots are counted, you are saying those votes don't matter. You are stealing their voice.
Now i get it, WA is blue, Seattle out weighs the rest of the state by a landslide. Perhaps there were so many votes already counted, the rest wouldn't swing it. But it still seems very disrespectful to announce it before the votes are counted.
Other than that, everything i saw seemed well thought out and fair. I didnt not have access to the counting process, computer systems, or anything else, so i can't make any statements about that.
I just wanted to share how it went for me.
Stay strong guys, we know Trump won, he's on it. Keep praying, and when you arent praying, clean those guns, load those magazines. I have a really bad feeling this is going to get alot worse before it gets better.
TLDR Everything seemed fair, but they called it before any remote votes were counted. Disrespectful.
President Trump will be holding a radio rally on the Rush Show today in a few hours. I tried to listen on Rush's website but you have to pay to be a member.
Does anyone know of a way to listen to the show without paying?
If not i will sign up for a month's service then cancel it later, it's only 6.99 so not a huge deal.
Thanks
Nothing happens by accident.
Bad optics, didn't want to pollute the news cycle? Too fishy.
Some fucker is afoot i tell you.
