I was actually just discussing this with a couple people this evening; I don’t think it’s a ‘modern day lynching’ like it seems everybody is saying and I don’t think these two guys decided one day to go out and kill a dude because of the color of his skin.
I believe these two guys had the right intention but poor execution of their plan and tried to hold this guy they thought was a suspect in recent burglaries until police arrived, but instead of complying like they hoped he would he tried to grab the gun and here we are today. I learned quick in the army that shit never goes as planned and things can go sideways real quick. I’m not saying anybody in this story is in the right but I am curious to see more facts as they come out. It could’ve been an accident that led to panic and lead to more shots fired, it could’ve been self defense, or maybe the klan rides again; this whole thing is a mess.

Same. I dropped out of an expensive art school because I wanted to fight for my country during the war in Iraq instead. A deployment took care of one loan and I’m so close to paying off my last one. I’ve struggled, worked hard, and sacrificed so much to get where I’m at with my school loans. I took out the loans so I’m going to pay em back like a human adult is expected to. I don’t want/need Pelosi or any other politician to wipe it all away and tell me that all I’ve done and been through was for absolutely nothing.
