I was vehemently against guns before COVID hit and the BLM riots began. I even turned down my dad passing down a couple of shotguns to my sons. I still kick myself about that. I got my first handgun about 6 months ago. A CZ P-10C and it’s a dream to shoot. I’ve not missed a target yet. Might add some long range pieces to my collection at some point (though I have no idea where to start).
My zealous religious mother has bought into all of the COVID hysteria. This same woman refused to save for retirement because, “God will take care of me.” It baffles me and when I argue my points, she always returns to, “Well, why are the numbers so high then?” She won’t even go to church because she believes modern day Christians are agents of evil but she doesn’t believe the media would lie and inflate the numbers to create hysteria and fear.
I told her that Trump is still the winner of this election and she shrugged and said, “I don’t think so.” I explained the fraud and she had heard of none of it. She didn’t even seem to care. The media has done an outstanding job gaslighting people into thinking fraud happens all the time so this is nothing new and we should just accept the fraudulent results.
I agree. My family has been in VA since it was founded. One of my ancestors was a pilgrim, for god’s sake. Another fought in the Revolutionary War. I should not have to move to keep my constitutional rights that my ancestors fought for. I get why people are talking about secession. I really get it. And if push comes to shove, I’ll deal with the emotions of leaving VA to move to a more based state. But, it’ll be anything but easy. I’ll be picking up my entire lineage and moving it.
Actually, only about 10% make most posts on Twitter...
“To ignore us— and the 64,000 of you who have signed the petition— is to ignore our generation’s most pressing demands for transformative justice.”
- You mean like ignoring the 74,000,000 votes for Trump? How’s it feel to have the shoe on the other foot?
I’m a mom and can’t go. Do us proud!
