Have you not been paying attention? They stole elections in 2018, and nobody stopped them. Remember Arizona? They did it again in 2020, and so far nobody is stopping them. If they get away with it then we will never have another fair election in this country. How do you clean up your state when you can't vote for the people who would want to clean it up?

Your comment would be reasonable if Trump lost the election. He didn't. It was stolen, and there is overwhelming evidence to support that fact. This isn't about the end of Trump, this is about the end of our democracy.

Yes but the other 10% is extremely safety-critical and difficult to automate. And the 0.01% where shit goes sideways is impossible to automate, particularly considering that flight computers have been the cause of several catastrophes in modern aviation.

There are almost infinite methods, but they all require some sort of periodic action to keep them deactivated. That action could take the form of signing into a specific server or website, responding to an automated email, providing a code to a program, or almost anything else. Posting a comment on this website every day could be the action. Could even be human-triggered; maybe a trusted person would activate the switch if they hear that Assange has disappeared or been killed. That is the fun thing about dead-man switches, they are almost impossible to defuse because there is no way to know what method (or methods) are being used.
