After seeing the change in Ted Cruz after he encountered Trump I absolutely believe politicians can be changed. Maybe these guys need to see what principled assertiveness looks like. I've always been registered independent, but always voted republican. I live in one of those states that don't let you vote in a primary if you're independent. I don't think I'm going to bother voting at all anymore until someone convinces me it's not a waste of time.
