There is a very long Crimean Bridge from Russia over the Kerch Straight to Crimea. But from what I read, if Russia invades it is to officially take over Donbass and other oblasts in order to create a land bride to Crimea. Basically it would be Russia taking over east/southeast Ukraine, officially. Seems like a huge operation, which will see strong resistance, so seems to be it is very unlikely to happen. If Putin invades Ukraine, then you can thank him if there is war. He would be the instigator and anyone fighting to protect Ukraine's sovereignty is in the right to do so. I have no doubts about America's involvement in the coup. And I am not anti-Russian by any means. My point in posting on this thread is simply to say it is wrong to invade and steal land from a neighboring country, regardless of the ethnicities involved. If every country invaded a neighbor country due to shared ethnicity and political disputes, then the entire world would be at war.
