Why is anyone condemning the proud boys? That makes no sense to me. They became a thing to combat antifa since no one else seems to do it. They go and help protect people. They aren't robbing, rioting or being violent for no reason. They defend themselves and others.

The issue is that people aren't going out and shooting people. They are doing their own form of protest they just happen to be armed. People shouldn't have to stay in their home just because antifa and the like are out causing havoc. They also shouldn't be referred to right wing militia simply because they are exercising their 2nd amendment rights.
He could have said something along the lines of there is nothing illegal about people exercising their 2nd amendment rights. He could have also countered by them calling everyone who isn't antifa right wing militia.
Tell him that supporting Biden or arms of the Democrat party doesn't make him a pedophile, but it does mean he thinks it's acceptable.
