The risk was made much higher when POTUS started tweeting about it a few days ago. He set a trap. They could either lose it clean or meddle and get caught in the trap. Maybe they decided with everyone watching that the risk was too high

Yup. We all love the idea of the glorious fight for freedom. But no one will like the tearing apart of the nation. Maybe it happens quickly, but these same forefathers had to fight for a decade. Many are willing. But the majority of that many are good people who will wait until it is the best option left and the timing is right.
