It's an RC-135. Designed to detect incoming ballistic missile strikes. It's doing loops up there in case someone tries to launch some nukes at us. Any nukes China/Russia launched would come over the pole (shortest path), so those planes are designed to detect them. If you see one, that means there are three or four you don't see that are up there doing the same thing but not transponding.

I'm searching flight history of known military aircraft right now, trying to see if any of them have history of transponding at night. I've noticed the past few days the # of military aircraft transponding has waaaay dropped.
Because he doesn't have the support from the military. At this point, pedes basically fall into two camps: Q and non-Q. The Q believe that this is somewhat part of the plan, that Trump is secretly going to enact the insurrection act and make sweeping arrests. But the whole Q thing has spiraled out of control. Q hasn't even posted in a month. There is a huge amount of LARPing, and none of it ever results in anything, so people are beginning to distrust it more and join the non-Q group. The non-Q group believe Trump is going to quietly leave office and start his own platform or TV show or something.
Me? I don't know what to think. I'm hesitant to trust the LARPers, because they are wrong 99% of the time. But on the other hand, you have the dem controlled gov going full communist, purging wrong-think, citizens storming capitols, unusual military air traffic, blackouts around the world, and radio silence from Trump. So it seems like something is happening. Or rather, it's clear that nothing isn't happening. But is the something that's happening the IA, or military tribunals or prep for civil war? There's no evidence of that either.
People are scared and worried and strange things around the world are happening, but people are hesitant to "trust the plan" because they've been lied to so frequently.
Does Trump have the support of the military? That's the million dollar question. The fact that Nancy was trying to stage a coup seems to be weak evidence that he does. But there are precious few voices this community trusts completely. Trump is one of them. Until we hear the words "concede / biden" or "insurrection" from his mouth, it's all hearsay.
They can't release that without also telling China and other countries how that information was gathered.
