FYI, Dr Pepper is a separate company not owned by Coca Cola. They essentially pay Coke to piggy back on their vending infrastructure since Coke and Pepsi frequently force businesses to only serve their brand by contract.

Please read the actual bill postings before freaking out. Unless it was proposed then dropped immediately, I did not see an expansion on the lockdown in the Texas Legislature postings from 2/9/21, but I did see these gems:
HB 1702- Relating to lobbying by former members of the legislature; creating a criminal offense.
HB 1708- Relating to an electronic voting system that produces a voter-verifiable paper record.
HB 1724- Relating to service as an election watcher. (They changed the language from the watcher "being near" to "being near enough to see and hear" the counter.)
HB 1725- Relating to prohibiting in-person delivery of ballots by mail.
HCR 85- Proposing a constitutional amendment to prevent certain public officers and entities from prohibiting the operation of industries or other categories of business or commercial activity in this state.

TLDR: A Trump supporter cleared the snow from my driveway and asked nothing in return for this kindness. I am not used to kindness without strings attached. I also have severe TDS. Somehow the Trump supported being white is important. Lol, same experience here. In Wrath of the Lich King I was our 25 man raid Main tank. You don't do heroic Ice Crown Citadel without channeling your inner autist and running numbers and stats for the entire raid. It has carried over well into my career lol.

The thing that sucks about Austin is that there are a lot of based people there. The problems are typical of anywhere Demoncrats get a foothold in, they rig the system to make it harder to ever be representative. The city council there has things set up to benefit the blue little nugget in the center which is filled with the classic D types; the champagne socialist, the uninformed idealist liberal arts students, the Free Stuff voters, and taken advantage of for a vote homeless.
Austin could be great if they ousted the city council and mayor.

Well put! This is especially problematic in the behavioral sciences. Soooo much we have taken as Gospel in psychology and sociology has not been able to be replicated in other studies which is a big red flag, and really, who is suprised by this? Humans are weird AF.
