The business has changed....and that's what sucks. I remember idolizing radio DJs growing up. I understand that it's easier to beam one DJ to multiple markets then to have multiple DJs in multiple markets. Has radio become a monopoly? I haven't been following along, but I know there's some rules about how many stations on company can own in one market. I live in the LA market so I'm bombarded by iHeart.
Agreed. I've found myself in a rut, musically speaking. My favorite radio stations are changing, the music doesn't sound the same....either I'm getting real old, real quick; or there are other forces at work here.
Imagine, like minded individuals gathering in a forum to discuss issues near and dear to their heart; and perhaps, one might put there thoughts down sharing their disappointment with an aorganization they belong too. And what if other like minded individuals had similar thoughts? Would that be coordination?
