In college, I knew a very pretty girl who got in a bad car accident and suffered brain damage.
When she came back from extensive hospitalizations and therapy, her whole face looked different. She looked like a different person. She had taken on this kind of squinty look and she had completely different facial expressions. She held her face differently all the time, if that makes sense.
