You have only lost when you accept losing. You can take a hit, you can lose a battle, dark times can come and yet you can stand up and continue to fight. Dark times are ahead for sure but, we need to continue to fight.
I ran for office back in 2017. One of my planks was to reduce the police force since they cost so much money and added little value to the city. I wanted to cut the police force from something like 90 officers to 72. I got roasted by the papers and my opponents as if I hated police.
I feel vindicated.
If you change parties you can’t primary them or vote in primaries. Look if you split the ticket dems win plain and simple. If the goal is to get MAGA folks in to office we need to primary especially in heavy red districts. A pede in Liz Cheney’s district should run for office.
The school board has huge budgets. I worked with a few people and talked to them about the issues that face the school board. Among these is rent seeking behavior when they look for grants. What is worse is when the grant is ended they are on the hook for the continued cost of the program. I wonder how many school boards have this issue.
It’s cute people think that contacting your rep will change anything. We are all just delaying the inevitable. The choices are clear either we all take it and nothing change or we go out in to the streets and make them fear us. Reps and senators don’t care because they don’t fear conservative voters. The SCOTUS won’t do anything because they don’t fear us. We need to make them scared. We need to show there are ramifications for what they are doing. Not just they might get voted out. When all other rational options are exhausted you have no choice but to use irrational means to get results.
I still don't believe he beat Obama's numbers. No way on God's green earth. I despise Obama but that man and an insane amount of support in 2008. I want to look at the presidential popular vote as a percentage of eligible voters and compare this going back to FDR. I am willing to bet Biden somehow beat FDR and Kennedy and Regan's numbers as a percentage of the total eligible vote. I call absolute horse shit if Biden got more of the eligible vote than any candidate before him.

The great thing about the constitution is that the president isn’t a dictator. He can’t just grant amnesty. He would have to get it through the legislature. Which dems have a weak hold on the house and the senate will stay in republican hands. 2022 will be a year we need to primary as many RINOs and take control of the house.
I said this to a co-worker today, that the SCOTUS needed to take the case even if they sent it back to the states saying the vote was illegitimate and the state legislature decide to follow the national popular vote and vote in Biden I wouldn’t be mad. That is the state legislature power. However, what the court did was the most cowardly thing. This is a watershed moment if we let the do this with no ramifications and we don’t stand up for ourselves we will be like Europe in 10 years. Guns banned, sucking on the Tit of China and a former power.
The country can survive a Biden presidency. That’s not the issue, the issue is that we no longer have trust worthy elections and this will embolden democrats to cheat more.
Not hard but annoying. For example if you are a 3rd party in the state of ct and want to be on the ballot you have to get tens of thousands of signatures. The powers that be make it hard for 3rd party candidates.
