The idea behind voter IDs is that state ID/ driver's licenses do not distinguish between wither or not someone is a good-standing citizen, and thus eligible to be registered to vote. If state IDs properly contained that data, then yes, voter ids would be pointless. But as it stands, some States are giving IDs/ Driver Licenses to Illegal Immigrants, and that's a huge problem.

So maybe voter IDs aren't necessary because because this isn't a problem with voting. It's an immigration issue, and it's an issue States failing to maintain correct data. Then again, some would say that's exactly why we need the Federal Government to step in and start policing the laws and policies that some States simply wont.

This is actually correct. The three groups most as risk from Corona/Wuhan virus are children under 12, adults over 80, and the immunocompromised. That third group covers cancer patients, people with asthma, HIV/AIDs, and of course, many others. Wuhan virus very rarely kills directly, but it can very easily become the proverbial straw that will break the proverbial camel's back.
