That's crazy. I feel like I could have more faith, or at least more determination if I had kids. But that's a double edged sword too. I don't even know what to think may be coming in the short term, let alone the long.

That's what I'm worried about. There ain't no turning back once shit goes that way

I definitely take joy in the little things. Just wish I had a big thing or 2 to take joy in sooner than later. Thanks for the thoughts and well wishes, fren!

I had the same thought initially. A lot of people want Roe struck down, but they don't know what exactly that means. It's a court decision that holds up your right to "medical privacy".... But it shouldn't to the extent that the murder of unborn children can become industry. Don't be fooled though, your right to privacy is codified, your right to kill an unborn child is not.

Wish I could help, fren. Best advice I have is check your local pick and pull for one in better condition and keep it that way. Or a seat cover🤷‍♂️. ,leather conditioner will help keep it from getting worse, if it's actually leather

That's Insane! There's not even anything special about it besides the damn logo!!! ,To some people that's enough I guess... purses make bank too. Saddles and holsters sell for a good chunk, but they are a lot of work. If I was to invest in some machines I could make decent money. But it just gets tedious making the same thing over and over. Saddest part is Louie Vitton probably has 50x the price going into the leather for that wallet than the labor in some sweat shop in Bangladesh. It is a nice wallet, I'll give it that. But man, $900??? I'll sell you this hat for that in a heartbeat.

Too much to sell honestly. I have over 10 hours in stitching alone on this hat. ,I clocked in over 18 hours to make this hat including drawing up the pattern. My daily grind I'm about 45 an hour most days, so it's tough to justify doing leather for a living. It's nice too though because all my work is one of a kind

It's the tanning process used in the leather. Veg tan leather is usually a bit thicker and doesn't come pre dyed. It is also carveable. Veg tan is the stuff you would make saddles and holsters out of, and chrome tan is the pre dyed stuff you would make a leather jacket out of. Usually much softer and less rigid. Also shows more of the grain

I prob got damn near 1000 compliments on J6th with my hat and my leather gas mask. I was pretty decked out lol. It definitely turns heads

It doesn't take long at all so long as you use 100% pure liberal tear salt in the tanning process. Produces some of the softest and most workable leather you have ever seen!! ;)

It's not quite that simple, lol. I have thought about doing tutorial videos, but I'm so busy these days it's hard to make time to even do leatherwork, let alone make and edit videos. Plus making patterns for different size heads is a bit of a pain. I need some software or something to scale up and down once I get patterns made

Thank you, it was a lot of work, but when someone with an eye for detail sees it and realizes how much work it was. You know it's not just a made on China hat.

Leather is easy compared to knives, fren. I dabble in both, but I'm a bit of a leather prodigy with my background in sheet metal work. It's too bad leather doesn't make near as much money, it sure is fun. Pretty sweet to get so many compliments on something you made too. It's very gratifying!

As far as your "why would I go to jail" comment... Maybe it's just me, but I'd rather go to jail 10000 times than to finance rampant systemic pedophilia willingly. Let them print their own money fren. Keep yours and live happy. I shit you not, I have not paid taxed in 20 years. Still on the outs making more money than most till they put in the work to come get me. When they do they will find that I own nothing, and I am happy ;)

You are talking about the website that coined the term "groomer". I think you are underestimating the influence this site has. It certainly isn't just the ones that surf here that feel the trends we set.

There are a lot of ways I use to get around things, but you really have to have the initiative. You have to view yourself as complicit if you play by their rules. Maybe in the end I go to jail anyway, but sitting in a jail cell doesn't give me a dirty conscience. Funding pedophilia and terrorism does.
