This would be the most epic play in American history, and do a great service to our nation. The democratic party would be roadkill at that point, and Trump can retire happily knowing he made a difference. Why is George Washington so revered? Because he gave up power.

If you read the full NY slimes hit piece and not just the headline, In 2016 and 2017, Trump filed for an extension. When you file an extension, you still have to pay the taxes you think you owe. In 2016, he paid $1 Million. In 2017, he paid $4.2 Million.
Turns out after his accountant sorted out his taxes and filed them by the extension deadline, he only owed $750 both those years. He then instructed the IRS to KEEP THOSE PAYMENTS, and apply them to any future tax bills.
