Yet how many places are still acting like surfaces are contaminated? Dressing rooms closed in stores. Forcing low level employees to decontaminate things every 10 minutes. Not allowed to use hymnals in church. Etc, usw.
They want to be part of an oppressed group. Being an upper middle class straight white kid means they're an oppressor to their social circle. If they come out as trans or bi or even gender questioning, suddenly they get to be one of the oppressed.
Even calling Jan 6th a riot is playing into their narrative.
They were let in, walked around inside the velvet ropes, took some selfies, and left politely when asked. If it was a riot or an insurrection, it was the most pathetic one in history.
Compare that to all the so-called peaceful protests all summer where they dragged people out of cars and beat them, burned down businesses, killed cops, occupied entire neighborhoods with weapons, etc.
Those are two men.
The good thing about all this is normal people are starting to realize how crazy it all is. The more crazy wacko they go, the more the general population sees the bad path we're going down. That's a good thing for us.
The pendulum always swings back eventually.
It’s a Catholic thing. Once a year a few days before Easter all the priests from the area go to the cathedral to renew their vows to the Church and the bishop. It’s a big deal because all the priests are there together.
A homily is just the sermon. So the bishop (old white guy in charge of the entire area) spoke against woke culture at a Mass where every priest in the area was present, meaning they all heard it. Which is great.
Then again, this is an extremely conservative area of Texas, so we don’t have as many woke churches around here to begin with.
