It’s normal for a teenage girl to be uncomfortable with her new breasts and curves and her period. Learning to accept our secondary sex characteristics can be a process. But now we’ve convinced teens that if they’re uncomfortable with their bodies, they must be trans. We’re pathologizing normal adolescent body image difficulties.
