They couldn’t be prosecuted because the state gave them false information and incorrectly approved their indef confined applications, allowing them to bypass voter verification steps. This was the state’s fault, not theirs. Any Republican who incorrectly voted this way and came forward would be helping Trump gather evidence. It would also kind of be like they voted twice, because coming forward would effectively cancel out a Biden vote after the fact. It’s a pretty unique situation
This is true but I figure if even close to 10% of those voters are Republican it could work. You might even find some Republicans who are in fact indef confined who will get out of bed and say “Fuck this I’m not indefinitely confined anymore” and testify
It might be a long shot but if 20k+ did come forward and they refused to disclose who they voted for, the judge would have no choice but to grant relief because it would be unclear who won since that’s greater than the margin of victory. The judge in the other WI case (not directly Trumps) already ruled in the Republicans favor and is letting the lawyers try to find these people. This might be one way to quickly find them
Guys no judge is going to void the entire state’s election, and by extension “the will of the people”, over a mistake from the officials that is inconsequential. The majority of Congress won’t agree to that either, and for good reason
