For schools like Yale and Harvard, tuition is there to keep out the “wrong” students by making it prohibitively expensive unless you meet certain criteria and get a scholarship.

It's so bad, she might get 2 strongly worded letters. Take that!

Are we ratcheting up to moderately-strong worded letters now. Hopefully we can get to extremely-strong letters by the end of Trump's second term.

For Democrats, you're allowed to lie for the 'Greater Good'. they know he doesn't mean it.

Here's the ad:

Biden: I am the Democratic Party. Cut to pictures of Antifa rioting. Biden: I am the Democratic Party. Cut to Pelosi/Schumer calling Republicans enemies of the state (or some other insane thing...there's plenty). Biden: I am the Democratic Party. Cut to Stupid AOC comment. Biden: I am the Democratic Party. Cut to Omar ballot harvesting video. and so on...

Showing it like that would mean that he agrees...or he's lost control of the party...which is it?

Thing is, if you’re not Catholic, you don’t have to give two shits about what the Pope says...

First thing that caught me was the fact they couldn't get enough American soldiers to be up on stage with him. The one in frame to the left of Biden is a Brit or Canadian (between flight suit guy and Mrs Biden), and the one behind him as he comes in frame is another foreign soldier. When they pull back, the tall guy in the back row is foreign too.

since the only term limit in the Constitution is that they serve under "good behavior", which has been interpreted as to give them a lifetime appointment, wouldn't a Constitutional amendment be needed to change that?

How will we be able to tell the difference between these riots and the riots that are already going on? It's getting hard to figure out which democrat group is indiscriminately burning down local businesses for what reason at this point.

Pick you battles. If you have to wear it at work, can't do to much about that. If you work with customers, then don't enforce the mandate when they come in. Support the stores that aren't enforcing the mandate.

Vocational Teacher myself. Have to wear one unless students can stay 6 feet apart, so that's what we do in the classroom. Taking one for the team so that schools can stay open so parents can go back to work. Once we get back to the normal routine that families are used too, mask wearing will diminish.

so...labs could have been manufacturing Covid 'spikes' in Florida this entire time by simply holding on to data and releasing it say...when the President announced that part of the Republican Convention would be held in Jacksonville, or when the Governor required schools to submit plans for reopening...

Patron can be bled to death in arbitration fees. Each case has to be handled separately, and they’re on the hook for each case. So if a deplatformed Patreon has 100 subscribers who file arbitration cases, Patron has to hand over $300k in arbitration fees right off the bat, and continue to pay the bills for every single case as it works their way through the system. The court ruling basically said “you’re the one who set the rules, so you can’t try to get out of it now”.

The story is out of the Orlando area, where the Orange County mayor is the husband of Val Demmings, one of the impeachment managers and potential VP pick.

School board is also trying to keep the schools closed against the state’s guidelines. We’ve had 3 surveys go out over the last few weeks asking if we want classrooms open or distance learning...the first two overwhelmingly supported going back to school, so we have to keep doing it until we give the answer they want so they can claim “community support” to not reopen the schools.

It surprised me that a police department had to have a separate anti-crime unit. Thought that the police department WAS the anti-crime unit.
