January 6 was the biggest psyop in US history. Many conservatives were talking about election fraud and how they thought the election was stolen. But all of a sudden, on January 6, most totally flipped. What’s really odd is they actually seem to believe the leftist propaganda now... the stuff they were mocking themselves months ago. It’s like their subconscious told them “you are going to be in danger if you keep questioning the election.”
For example, Ben Shapiro had several episodes on how the election was “stolen” from Trump or how mail in ballots are inherently untrustworthy. Now he says the idea the election was stolen is a conspiracy theory. I also have a friend who was cheering on the “insurrection” on January 6 but then claimed he didn’t support Trump anymore by January 9 or so.
This stuff is far worse than even Orwell could have imagined.
