We have evidence of illegal election PROCEDURES. We did not have thousands of documented cases of fraud - which is what you need to overturn the election in COURT.
When you have evidence of illegal PROCEDURES you need the SENATE or ELECTORAL COLLEGE to act, or you're fucked. It was clear the senate wouldn’t act by November 6 or so. It was clear the election was over by December 14 when the electors voted.
Everything from then on was basically a show, nobody was fighting for anything except Trump. I have more respect for people like Rand Paul who didn’t pretend to fight in January, than people like Cruz who pretended to fight while doing jack shit when it actually mattered (November).
