Literally already doing this. Look up John Muir, he's in the process of getting cancelled.
They say his talk of "preserving" the outdoors ignores the fact that natives were already there.
They are willfully ignorant to the fact that his preservation efforts were to prevent industrialization/mechanization from claiming every square inch of the country.
You don't get to punch someone in the face, then declare a truce.
You don't get to burn down countless cities across America, then proclaim you're peaceful. That's not how any of this works.
You are violent terrorists until we decide otherwise. Period.
Do you find his story impressive?
Absolutely not. Not at all. He was a hate driven race hustler who accomplished nothing and actively promoted anti-white hate.
Here is is on C-SPAN doing exactly that:

I was happy the day he died. Same with Elijah Cummings. Both were worthless people.
The debt is indeed bad and is rising at an astronomical and alarming rate.
But there is nothing that can be done about it, and I've seen no real, workable, politically feasible solutions offered. So TBH, it's not something I think about much.
That said, in the past, I used to worry about it more.
It would make perfect sense that these three countries, who hate America, are funding the social justice wave over the last decade. It's the most divisive, distracting, exhausting, hate driven ideology we've ever seen in this country.
It would make PERFECT sense that these countries fund it.
This is a fair point. Government was required to pioneer this stuff first when there was no commercial reason to do so.
I think this is an interesting public/private relationship that you described. Perhaps it could be applied to more areas of contracting, to make things for nimble and efficient.
There are some other techniques they use too, that we all need to point out AHEAD OF TIME, before discussing anything with them.
Constant whataboutism. They make a point, you disprove them, they change the subject.
If you manage to pin them down on a single subject, then once you disprove their argument, they deflect with "well I don't really want to talk politics". Or "Well I'm not really that informed on this subject".
It's critical to call them out on this BEFORE you start, so that they know, that you know, all of the shit they pull.
Opinions that are considered "radical right wing" used to be moderate liberal ideas.
This is such an important point. Most of us haven't changed much. We want the basics that are good for our country. It is the other side that has gone off the map.
Another great story!
"Wait a minute..." I thought, "Why isn't the sky falling though?"
This is such an important point. When you tell people over and over that the sky is falling, then the sky had better actually fall, or else you lose all credibility.
It's like those crazy religious cults that say "The world will end on Tuesday at 3:37PM". It had damn well better happen, or else the person looks like a fool.
On the subject of HCQ, I'd say the most definitive site is here:
c19study.com
It shows every study that has been done, with a short summary of each. Some are positive, some inconclusive, some are negative. But the majority are positive.
What's strange is that even the conclusions on some of the papers are suspect. They'll show improvement in the data, but then conclude there was no positive effect. So even some of the studies themselves are compromised.
As many have said, zinc is needed too, and starting treatment early on shows the most promising results.
Give the link above to your friend.
Also of interest, in the other direction, is this tweet thread:
https://twitter.com/jpogue1/status/1288871272261328902
This guy gives some good evidence for why it does NOT work. As you'll see in the comments, he does NOT address zinc, and does NOT refute every study at c19study.com. He does however, give some interesting insights.
Good luck with your friend!
For anyone curious on the details. It's up to 1.9B per year for 5 years for deferred maintenance (there is supposedly a ~$10-12B maintenance backlog). Then about 900M per year forever. That second part is funding that already is spent each year, but like so many lame things, needs to be continually re-authorized. This makes it permanent.
People have wanted Congress to do this for ages. Trump pushed their lazy asses to get it done.
