Kudos. I did go down the social media trap for several years. And was always a sports fan. But no more. Been off FB for several years now and quit the NFL prior to this season. And let me tell you getting "off" it and looking at all the people who use it is eerily similar to getting off any addiction...your friends try to talk you out of it (they did that to me with alcohol: "you're not addicted, you don't have a problem)...say it's harmless...say it makes them a better person...say they only use it cuz it's a great tool...waste their time and years of their lives on it as it enables them to sit inside thinking they are "informing" themselves and "awakening" others...meanwhile FB violates them constantly and they continue to use it, denying they are addicted...they complain about what FB has become, continuing to use it... especially leftists, they have this hatred for the capitalist corporations but for some reason it's totally cool when FB exploits them bc they present themselves as a leftist corporation...it goes on.
Anyways thats a rant but its good to know that there are actually quite a few people who are not on it at all. Hopefully the number grows.
