I think about this a lot pede. It just cannot be understated how insane everything has become in the last ten years. It is quite literally not the same world and it's really sad. Watching how 24/7 social media and smartphones changed everything is horrifying, everything is unrecognizable. I also feel lucky about being able to experience a world that was relatively normal.
I'm not sure I agree that things can be reversed though. It would take a lot, and I don't foresee social media being banned and the malicious fake news being put in its place anytime soon.

Grew up in a small suburb and we had plenty of black people in our school, everyone got along fine.

I'm all for actual equality, not the equality that involves tearing down white people. It's very clear that the lefts version of equality exclusively consists of doing that.
They're not even trying to better the lives of minorities who live in bad communities and bring them up a bit, they just want to bring us down as some sort of revenge porn fantasy or something.
