As for how it will get better: I have no idea. Our main opposition party is torn between liberal-conservative (the true liberal, not the leftists) and authoritarian national-social-democrats. I expect no real counter-movement from them.

What renews germany would have to be completely new. I am thinking, that a nationalist, populist, liberty minded movement with socially-democratic elements could catch on here, if you get the framing right. But there is hardly personel for that.

This will take more years to really see what develops. Right now, there is only decline.

This is not depressing. You gotta view that another way:

The US is the only country, in the world, that is as successful in looking straight through the medias and the lefts lies. Likely around 80 Million people voted Trump.
