There's already comments like "Gee, it's only nine ballots, and some weren't even complete."
There's no reason for any ballots from the last presidential election to be left sitting around. They were missed! So how many more were there?!
I would advise caution in calling (or attempting to call) our president directly. Mostly because he's a busy man, let's not interrupt him. If you can find the numbers, consider contacting someone like a secretary instead, it's a bit more their job to handle calls like that.
Under normal circumstances, this wouldn't be newsworthy. But today, with police being demonized, it may be worth it to show what is usual and expected during encounters with police. Fighting the narrative of the extreme with the norm, essentially.
Good point. They could have used a d100 (either a die with 100 faces or two d10s) but they went for a d20. Still possible they thought of it as 5% increments, in favor of not using multiple dice or a single unwieldy one.
Also, reminder that setting and system are two different things, the d20 system used by D&D could have its roots far beyond the world they made to play within.
I was taught this, I was not taught common core. Multiplication can boil down to addition and a n×10 times table. I realized I could break it down further to a n×5 table with n×10, because of what I learned with factoring.
I was under the impression that common core forced students into lengthy drawings for counting, encouraging close but not exact answers, and doing away with times tables entirely. There's probably more, but this alone is terrible.
Edit; I misunderstood, you're saying they changed the multiplication process entirely. That's pretty bad too.
They've been flip-flopping on this point every month like it's clockwork. Either it is, or it isn't, or they don't yet have a good method to determine this, but no they want to apparently ruin their credibility to keep everyone in fear.
I'm convinced they've been trying since at least March, and were only successful now.
But, to be infected this close to the election, almost immediately after the first debate, as Dems are demanding debate rule changes to allow the moderators muting powers? The timing paints a terrible picture.
