Often people forget why the 2nd amendment was written the way it is, and this is actually why.
Historically, our founding fathers would have the citizenry possess an equal or greater might compared to their governance.
Practically, muskets were not the only weapons used at the time, so limiting it to firearms would make no sense.
Fortunately, or not, today this amendment includes nukes, the most powerful and destructive weapons known to man, unimagineable at the time the amendment was written.
But, they had the foresight that weapons may change with the times, and wrote this amendment to account for that.
With that, was the foresight to denounce enemies of these United States as having these rights removed from them, and therefore may NOT fight on equal terms.
Lets also not forget the OSHA regulation that says all face masks that cannot form a proper seal around the face cannot be considered PPE (unless in environments where they are used to protect against splashes and sprays), nor respiratory protection, nor effective against airborne viruses.
Oh, and the one that requires companies that use such masks disclose that information.
Bleach is used plenty as a disinfectant cleaner. You don't need a lot, a diluted solution is all that is needed. Rinse well afterwards.
Military uses a diluted bleach solution to sterilize their M50 gas masks after use. This isn't anything out of the ordinary.
If you are still concerned, consider using boiling water instead.
If the masks work, everyone can go vote in person, no need for mail-in ballots.
If they don't work, then everyone's been wearing them for naught, and everyone can go vote in person, no need for mail-in ballots.
But yeah, sure, "it's just a mask."
Why are you linking to Twitter, which links to a New York Times article, when you should be giving this link for the survey they reference.
Outside of the total amount of participants, there are no actual numbers given in these results. They're all percentages within certain categories, and not a single number showing the makeup of that group. However, refining the results yields the political makeup: 32% Independent, 37% Democrat, and... 31% Republican.
They can weight that all they want, but even those results show Republicans trending up on being neither for or against, meaning less toward either full opposition or support.
I wouldn't trust it farther than I can throw it. Quit your sleepwalking.
I disagree that these are just "lockdown" riots. This was definitely sparked by race, and made extremely convenient by health orgs telling everyone to stay home... the left will disregard anything inconvenient for their aims, so of course anti-FA will be rioting free from fear of retaliation, while the law-abiding citizens stay home.
Exactly as planned.
If these actually had any effect on what Twitter does, I would suggest voting for the ban and give Trump irrefutable evidence of a First Amendment violation, or at the least a good reason to strip Twitter's "platform" consideration.
Dems will cry foul both ways anyway. They're of course ready for us to push, they might not be ready for us to pull though...
"Violation of CDC guidelines March 6." Write it on your mask, write it anywhere that says masks are required.
That day, the CDC tweeted telling travellers it is not recommended that masks are worn. They also tweeted all february not recommending the widespread use of masks.
Since these sheeple want to follow "guidelines" so much, remind them that the CDC originally recommended against the use of masks. If they ask, follow up with "were they wrong then or are they wrong now? And why do you still trust them?"
As someone working in a store, I want to raise a health and safety violation for improper PPE.
These masks that we are being given, and endorsed by officials and "experts," are not rated for use in virally contaminated environments.
On top of that, wearing a mask makes me have to touch my face more than ever, it keeps getting in my eyes, and is really starting to make a whole lot of sense and ALL FOR THE WRONG REASONS.
This article contains nothing we haven't heard, taken apart, and analysed already.
Under correct dosage, it does, with the help of antibiotics, successfully treat coronavirus. Ingesting fishtank cleaner is not correct dosage.
Clinical trials requires a control group, who are not given the drug, SENTENCING THEM TO DEATH. We have this control group already, with everyone who has died to the virus without being given the drug, but since it wasn't in some ordained trial, you want to ignore them.
Side effects? Sure, there's some. But instead of doing benefit-risk analysis, comparing the good and bad of the drug, consider risk-risk analysis, comparing the worst of the drug to the worst of the virus.
Go sneeze somewhere else.
No.
Unfortunately, I've been hearing about some stigma from mask wearers against those who don't, so you can bet your ass they'll make sure masks are under police enforcement, and I doubt they will stop even then with this stupidity.
I could go on a full rant about it, people aren't practicing what they preach...
For all the shit Comey did, there's still one thing that may end up being a boon to us.
He recommended against putting Hillary on trial.
It's been four years. If anyone was serious about prosecuting her crimes, they will have been gathering and processing as much evidence as possible to create an inescapable and irrefutable case. After four years, they should have plenty by now.
I know people would've rather had her tried immediately after that hearing (Comey did, in fact, announce to Congress that classified material had been egregiously mishandled by Hillary), I was one of them. But thinking on that now, how easily would she have squirmed her way out if we acted immediately?
Thanks to Comey, Hillary won't be able to claim double jeopardy.
