I work in broadcasting (not as a 'journalist', not going to say what I do or where to avoid doxxing).

Ever since the advent of CNN it has been constantly monitored in every place I've worked. About six months ago the monitors in the newsroom that carry the CNN/MSDNC feeds were turned off. They have stayed dark ever since. One has now been switched over to Fox. I asked why and the people I asked essentially said (in their own ways) "CNN had become unreliable and tended to dump out of important stories to go to 'useless' panel discussions."

I've also noticed the NYT is no longer in the newspaper rack in the newsroom.
