I wrote a post a couple of months ago about a black family that moved into our mostly white upper middle class neighborhood. They were a couple, both professional college educated with three sons all in private school. In the previous post I laid out how although they were far wealthier than me, lived in a home 4 times the size of mine, had a private dog walker and a maid but I’ll be darned if they did not hesitate to talk to me about social justice. The husband once told me that I was closed off to the world because I balked at letting a dog walker sleep in my bed while I was on vacation as he looked after my pets. He also talked about illegal immigrants and how they were just people (as if I didn’t understand that fact). He once said that there were a lot of toothless rednecks down here, and I responded there are really nice people here, even the toothless ones. Well they moved. I noticed them shutting off over the last month, not waving when out walking the dog etc. Turning around when they saw me out watering the garden. The sad thing about this is that I’m sure once back where they feel comfortable they will tell tales of the privileged racists they ran away from. They couldn’t grasp that we had our own lives, were not concerned for good or bad about them in the neighborhood and if they gave the people here a chance we would have warmed to them over time. I think they believed that we were all friends and were keeping them at arms length because they were black. The truth is we are not all friends, we live our own lives and are individuals, we pay little to no attention to each other but if we were needed we would help one another. Just frustrating that they felt isolated but in reality they isolated themselves by not holding their tongue and proving themselves to be full of judgement for people they didn’t know. Pretty sure they were the ones that were closed minded but they will never learn or admit it and that’s the saddest part. I would have loved to have a new friend.
Facebook has now added a “Lift Black Voices” link to all Facebook pages. It features a clench black fist. What in the living fuck is this shit? Now let’s think about this a moment. Black people represent 13 percent of the population. They represent 75 percent minimum of professional sports. At least 50 percent of music and are way over represented on tv. Our national conversation revolves around the issues of the black community and never about the real issue, always finger pointing. Nearly every commercial on the net or television shows a black man married to a white woman which I think is perfectly fine if people are in love and it happens naturally. But lets be honest, I think black voices have been “lifted” enough. I clicked on the black fist and the first thing that popped up is a Ted talk about how black queer love is a beautiful thing. Listen I love all of our black patriot brothers but come on this is crazy shit.

The sole purpose of everything you are seeing is to get us to react. To get us to defend and then to frame that defense as an attack. These people are sick. The longer this goes on the more damaging it is to to the left. That is why the patriots sit quiet for now. We are smarter then the left and understand that our time is coming. The British were creating havoc long before Lexington and Concord. Put your feet in the right place and then stand firm.
Just watching his coronavirus speech. It’s surreal he’s giving a speech to an empty room and he sounds and looks like my alcoholic uncle blabbering on thanksgiving.
I had a friend in high school, we weren’t extremely close but ran with the same crowd. He was good guy but always seemed like a mamas boy to me. No matter, I liked him, he liked me and we were friends. Well I just saw a video he posted on Facebook where he sat there and listed all the ways he had been hurt by racism over the years, calling out all our other friends, teachers and police. He sat there stating the offense and with a trembling voice would look into the camera and say “I remember”. This went on for 5 minutes or more. The hashtag tags were #sorrynotsorry and #ifthisbothersyougood. Yes he is a black guy and we grew up in a predominantly Irish, Italian, Polish neighborhood. Explain to me how a 54 year old man thinks it’s acceptable to go on social media and cry about his feelings being hurt? He came from a two parents household I didn’t. He had his college paid for, I didn’t. he’s wealthy today, I’m not. He was cared about and nurtured by his own family and by an extended white family in the community. Now he has no problem throwing everyone under the bus because his tender feelings were hurt on occasion. What makes it worse is he has been keeping a running tally of these things? God knows I could make a video telling tales of woe of how I was treated poorly by every race, Italians especially. You know why I won’t? Because I like to think that all the people who hurt me in the past, realized it on some level, regretted it and adjusted their behavior to be a better person. If my temporary discomfort helped someone grow into a better person that’s a small price to pay for a better world. Sorry for the rant.
Guaranteed within 3 years of commie policies a conservative uprising will fill California and demand reconciliation unconditionally. Do this with all these socialist hell holes. After a few disastrous flirtations with communism the distorted world view will collapse under its own weight.
Sorry, I have a hard time considering this unemployment. To me it’s like winding a clock, tighter and tighter. Eventually all that tension will be released in a wave not seen since the end of ww2. Americans are now being held like horses at the beginning of a race, snorting, and tearing the ground, pushing against the starting gates waiting for the bell. Once that bell tolls the rest of the world including China should be ready for the most exhuberant release of potential energy in history.
Please do it, I make it a point to report every comment and associated account that tries to shame anyone that doesn’t think like them. It’s fun and clogs the works for all of them.
