... then how can you allow a club in the MLB to continue on in a racist state?
Just saying, maybe all sports should cancel league team franchises in Republican states.
Follow their logic into total organizational suicide.
Gutfeld is the only Fox I can enjoy
... then why does the gnome Fauxi still have a job?
He gets paid more than any other federal salary at over $400k, and this is his job.
Short version: it hurts him to announce now.
Long version:
First off, Congress isn’t going go prevent him from ru. I got again. They don’t have 100% of Dems on board, and take pleasure in Biden’s early days still being all about Trump. The snowflakes could have just had 8 years, now they’re getting 12 years of their life impacted by Trump.
Trump should NOT announce 2024 right now. His team is saying they are focused on 2022 midterms and retaking House & Senate.
Reading into this, this gives you a few clues.
1 - Trump is either running or would rather enjoy his later years in life and not waste time. By being actively involved in retaking Congress, you know he’s not in “forget it” mode. He is coming back.
2 - Enough with the “our votes will never matter” crowd. If that were fate, then Trump wouldn’t be doing all this. He’s still in the fight, so we stay in the fight (@ alphabet agencies, the use of the phrase “in the fight” is just a phrase and is not intended to be taken to a literal call to violence). Nobody is feeling the sting of the fraud worse than him, and bet money he’s going after a fix.
3 - This is the real kicker: he can raise unlimited funds in a SuperPAC so long as he doesn’t declare himself a candidate.
THIS IS WHY he will be coy in the media about his intentions.
It is the same thing ¡Jeb! did in 2015. Start SuperPAC. Get money. Spend on research and strategy development. Then leave to become a candidate.
FEC rules prevent campaigns and PACs from coordinating, but nothing says you can’t in essence build a PAC first with everyone on the same page and then separate.
But the second you say you are running you are back to campaign contribution limits.
So take heart. I know it sucks, and the steal burns, but he will be back.
So if you aren’t aware, a subreddit basically declared war on hedge funds that were shorting GameStop stock.
Is there any good reason to be bullish on GameStop? Not really. Hence hedge funds sank cash into profiting off its demise.
Say you’re a hedge fund and risk 5% of your capital on a $1m position shorting GameStop when it was at $4/share (250,000 shares). 6 months ago it was like $2.5/share, and you got a pat on the head for being in the money. And being in the money you held onto your position resting on your laurels.
Then reddit autists strike and now the stock is over $300/share. To exit that trade, it would cost $75m @ $300/share.
Well your fund is only worth $20m, and your broker would have done a margin call and wiped you out before you could recover from the quick move. Or you find a securities loan to cover. But with the wild nature of this, does a lender give your fund the money to cover and risk burning cash?
They are literally wiping out hedge funds. Because Internet.
Where does this tie in?
We just had the first president maybe ever who never had permission from the system to be president. Hence the hyperbolic nonsense. The system is allergic to not being in control. Trump wasn’t a part of the plan.
And just like that a Wall Street backed stooge slept his way into the White House (the boring way) and a VP slept her way (the interesting way) in.
But now Wall Street is getting hit by random people who don’t have finance degrees from ritzy Ivy League schools, and the guys who name drop their alma maters are getting rekt.
Then there goes reporting that Nasdaq monitors online activity and any trading that seems to be based on suspicious online activity can be freezed.
Um wut? Hedge funds can bully their way to successful trades, but Reddit autists can’t?
The mostly peaceful patriotic protests have been branded terrorism to ease the Washington establishment, because their success and self-interested profit only happens because of apathetic citizens who won’t do anything about their grift.
Now Wall Street is losing control over reddit autists...
The establishment is very scared. They’re losing control, and the more they lose it the louder the TV talking heads will scream, and the more authoritarian they will get.
This hits them directly in their pockets though. The amount of wealth being lost on these shorts is far larger than the total $1.5 billion Joe Biden spent on his campaign.
Take note and watch.
I don’t know why I never thought of this before. Get them on record with this question.
They say “all lives matter” is racist. So which lives don’t matter?
I’ll wait.
First, Trump has said that MAGA has only just begun, so enough. Stay in the fight.
But more importantly, what do you do after someone breaks into your house in the middle of the night? It’s shocking, but you have to respond.
You buy more guns and a security system. You don’t put a flashing sign outside saying “come steal my shit and have your way with my wife.”
It sucks ass that COVID allowed all this shit to happen and weak RINOs in GA could have prevented the runoff loss but didn’t.
Quitting let’s them win. Hell, you won’t even need to put the sign in the yard that burglars won’t be shot.
You’ll be doing exactly what Lindsay Graham wants you to do.
