Every other post in here these days is some anti-black, pro-white jaded sounding comment or meme. And the majority of upvoted comments are just straight racist. It's tiring and desperate.
I've been around all kinds of white conservatives and those comments don't represent Patriotic Americans that want to see this country succeed. If anything you're just representing that one racist uncle that makes every get-together awkward. And the "edgy" ,red-pilled angle is just an excuse to say some racist shit you'd never say in public.
If you're a Christian and promoting white superiority bullshit, you're a hypocrite.
You've forgotten we were all once a bunch of idol worshipping, child sacrificing, golden calf carving pagans before Christ came along and saved us through grace. Not works. Not racial heritage. Not ethnic background. Not color of our skins, and not people of European decent. Even Christ was born in modern day Palestine.
Im convinced people here are either:
-
A liberal troll here to sound ignorant and make all conservatives look like backwards thinking hypocrites. Or (conspiracy time) agents meant to make this place look like a breeding ground for extremists.
-
You're Atheist and don't believe in anything.
-
You're a conservative that found this sub thinking you've finally managed to find some patriots. Then the first comment you read is, " Black women are all ugly" . Wtf.
-
You've become jaded. Which I understand. But..
How are conservatives any better if they're just as obsessed with appearance as liberals are? God, Family, Country. Thats supposed to be the motto of God fearing Christians in America. Not White vs POC. Christ came to tear down those divisions. Read the book of Romans.
I also think there's an attack directed at white (especially male) Americans in this country. But I believe there are far more ways of "fighting back" than just rage typing hatred at black people and glorifying whiteness. How about understanding the Spiritual battle that this is all really about.
With the things I've read in this sub I can easily see the same self cannibalizing based on race, heritage, religion as liberals. All the " white people created all the worlds greatest achievements " literal garbage comments I see upvoted here is exactly the same marxist, class-system ideology pumped in left leaning forums.
I'm a conservative because we're supposed to be God Fearing Christians. And according to the bible "God is no respecter of persons". Christ died for all. There is no racially segregated heaven and no special awards for having lived as a white person, black person, asian person, or little person.
"There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus." Gal 3:28
I love as just watching rsbn interviewing a woman and she said "the election was stolen". The interviewer mentioned that they weren't allowed to say that, and *wink wink , Biden is president, most popular in History etc.
I got what they were implying but I'm wondering what are the legal ramifications for expressing the opinion that you believe the election was stolen?
Why are networks large and small avoiding those phrases?
I've seen fox news (of course), newsmax, rsbn, steve bannon etc etc all of them avoid the topic and change the subject to State the "official" narrative, that Biden is the elected president. Which I agree is the harsh reality, but why can't networks say there was fraud of even express freedom of speech and say it was outright stolen?
I read Facebook is banning groups, and meetup is sparse.
Many of the groups using telegram are private for obvious reasons.
Are there any resources to connect with conservatives in my area? I'm in a large liberal city so finding others with similar values isn't so easy.
And another even broader question:
Why does it seem as though Trump has surrounded himself with feckles, weak, counsel that seem to avoid confrontation at every opportunity?
I suppose this would have been throughout his presidency, but I suppose I've only noticed since the election.
Maybe I'm wrong (and I hope I am).
It just seems every time there has been an opportunity to "lay it all in the line", expose the truth and lay out the facts (allegations and all) there has been some lesser confrontational alternative taken.
From exercising his endowed Powers as executive and chief, to not just defending this shame impeachment, but attacking from every angle, including the merits of fraud as it relates to the events that day.
I've read many points of view, from those close to Trump to those with personal experiences during this past months.
The one thing that seems consistent is Trumps weak counsel influencing bad decisions and confusing routes of action. Whether its with his knowledge or not, why would Trump, a successful, tougher than nails man surround himself with these individuals and worse, take their advice?
I'm wondering what can be done moving forward.
I realize that if the system is corrupt enough to steal and entire election what can I do from now moving forward.
How do we get things changed like mail in voting, no voter ID, paper ballots, getting rid of Dominion, signature verification etc so there's a realistic chance of ever affecting future elections.
I don't want it to be pointless and I feel irresponsible giving way to apathy. Also, are there officials leading the charge with reform that we can follow/support?
What's the process?
There is one card left to play to save America; but it is a trump card. President Trump, as a private citizen is the most powerful man in America. He retains a committed following of 74 million patriots; who are also 74 million consumers. On his word, they will do whatever he ask. If he ask them to close their Amazon accounts, they will do so, and stop buying at Amazon. The same holds true for Apple, or any other company in the U.S. President Trump and his 74 million patriots/consumers can destroy any company, on his word. This is unimaginable, unlimited, economic and financial power. This power, or leverage, can be used as political pressure against the liberal establishment and Democrat party, which gets their money from all of these big companies, who are globalists, against middle- and working-class citizens, andanti-American. The very U.S. companies that 74 million patriotic citizens buy from, are supporting the Democrat party with their big money, as they strive to fundamentally transform America into a socialist or communist country. Now do you get the picture? You want to stop the Democrats from destroying the Constitution and America? Then you must cut off the money; and Donald Trump, backed up by you, can cut it off, until they relent, and stop trying to destroy this country, for their own corporate and personal profit. These big companies own and control almost all of the politicians in congress, and state legislatures. This is why the elected representatives ignore your will. This applies to Democrats and Republicans in office. In effect, the money you spend is being used to destroy America. Know this; they will not stop, until we start to cut off the money. The politicians are corrupt because they take the money, and sell out America; that means, middle- and working-class citizens; that means, 97% of the citizens. Some may think this is playing hardball. Well, they have declared war on you, and your families. Do you want to save the country from government tyranny, and ultimately, your enslavement under socialism? Do you want to stop their plan to overrun you and your families, and the country, with foreign cheap labor, through their open borders policy? This fight to save America, that was being waged by President Trump, on our behalf, can be won, but you have to be willing to use the collective economic power in our hands, as the weapon to win this war they have declared on you, and our nation. American men and women who wore our nation's uniform, have given their lives, so that we can live free in this evil world. "The cost of freedom is high; but Americans have always paid it." [John F. Kennedy] We, now, to save the republic, to preserve the Constitution, and liberty, must now enjoin the war, declared upon us, by this homegrown, domestic enemy of the Constitution, and American people. By the grace of God, we have the means to win this fight, and save this great country. I believe I can say with confidence to President Trump, that 74 million American patriots are prepared to back you up, with our collective economic and buying power, to save the republic. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., succeeded in the Montgomery bus boycott, not because he appealed to the city's moral conscience; for they had none. He inflicted unbearable pain, where it hurt the most; in the city's pocketbook. President Donald Trump, and his 74 million patriots, have this economic power in unlimited measure. We must use it to stop the liberal, socialist, global, establishment, from destroying America, our Constitution, our families, and way of life. As you know, I do not have a big following. Some of you have huge Twitter and social media followings. In this respect, I hope you will retweet, and post this message, so it will get to all patriots, and President Trump. To God be the glory. Amen ~
What made Trumps situation different than past scenarios?
The origins of the Insurrection Act date back more than 200 years to a bizarre chapter in American history—when Aaron Burr plotted to raise an army and establish his own dynasty in either the Louisiana Territory or Mexico.
Burr, a decorated Revolutionary War officer and senator from New York, served as vice president during Thomas Jefferson’s first term. Burr had grand political aspirations, but they were dashed after he killed his rival Alexander Hamilton in a duel in 1804.
Burr was never arrested or tried for Hamilton’s murder, but it effectively ended Burr’s political career. With no prospects in Washington, D.C. or New York, Burr set his sights on the West, namely the newly acquired Louisiana Territory and Mexican-owned lands in the Southwest.
The details of Burr’s plot were never clear, but it involved mustering an army to invade Mexico under the pretense of a war with Spain, and then keeping the conquered land for himself. Burr thought he had an ally in General James Wilkenson, commander of the U.S. Army and first governor of the Louisiana Territory, but when rumors of Burr’s plot leaked into the newspapers, Wilkenson turned on his co-conspirator.
In a letter sent on October 21, 1806, Wilkenson spilled the details of the plot to Jefferson without mentioning Burr by name. But Jefferson had already grown concerned enough about Burr’s strange activities that Jefferson had sent his own letter to Secretary of State James Madison asking if the Constitution granted him authority to deploy the army to stop a rebellion.
In his reply, Madison said no. “It does not appear that regular Troops can be employed, under any legal provision agst. insurrections,” wrote Madison, “but only agst. expeditions having foreign Countries for the object.”
Both Jefferson and Madison were strict interpreters of the Constitution and wouldn’t dare exercise authority that wasn’t explicitly written in the founding document, so they needed to convince Congress to give Jefferson that power. And to do that, they first needed proof of Burr’s conspiracy. That’s where Wilkenson’s letter comes in.
“Jefferson was looking for a legitimate source of authority on Burr’s plot and he was willing to believe Wilkenson, even though historians suggest that Jefferson knew darn well that Wilkenson was a liar with his own suspect reputation,” says John Fea, a history professor at Messiah College. “But Jefferson needed a source to move the gears to try to stop Burr, who was his biggest fear.”
Armed with Wilkenson’s “proof,” Jefferson issued a proclamation on November 27, 1806 that laid out the plot and enjoined all military officers, both state and federal, to “to be vigilant… in searching out and bringing to condign punishment all persons engaged or concerned in such enterprise, in seizing and detaining, subject to the disposition of the law, all vessels, arms, military stores, or other means provided or providing for the same, and, in general, in preventing the carrying on such expedition or enterprise by all lawful means within their power.”
Jefferson essentially puts a bounty on Burr’s head,” says Fea, and within weeks, an Ohio militia seized boats belonging to Burr’s ragtag army and raided a private island on the Ohio River that served as a military encampment.
But Burr evaded capture and rumors continued to swirl that he was recruiting soldiers en route to the Louisiana Territory and soliciting help from Britain to establish his spinoff nation in the West. Jefferson still refused to deploy the standing U.S. Army to track down Burr and quash the rebellion once and for all, a reticence that was mocked by his political enemies, the Federalists.
“Jefferson, to his credit, says I’m not going to act unless the Constitution says I can act,” says Fea. “The Federalists take a much broader view of the Constitution. If the Constitution doesn’t outright condemn it, then it’s OK.”
Jefferson stuck to his principles and in December of 1806 asked Congress to pass a bill “authorising the emploiment of the land or Naval forces of the US. in cases of insurrection.” This legislation, known as the Insurrection Act, would take another three months to become law. When it was finally signed on March 3, 1807, Aaron Burr had already been in custody for 11 days.
So while the Insurrection Act was written expressly to foil Burr’s plot, it wasn’t used to capture him. The very first time the Insurrection Act was actually invoked was a year later in 1808, when American merchant ships in the Great Lakes flouted Jefferson’s trade embargo with the British. In response, Jefferson accused the rogue traders of “forming insurrections against the authority of the laws of the United States” and authorized the military to take action.
Since 1807, the Insurrection Act has been amended several times to meet different political challenges.
In 1861, Abraham Lincoln expanded the law to form the legal basis for waging the Civil War. Without it, he wouldn’t have had the authority to send federal troops into a state without the governor’s permission.
After the Civil War, the Insurrection Act was further amended to give the president authority to enforce the 14th Amendment and the conditions of Reconstruction in the South. That authority is now found in Section 253 of Title 10 of the U.S. Code, which gives the president the right to take military action within a state when “any part or class of its people is deprived of a right, privilege, immunity, or protection named in the Constitution and secured by law, and the constituted authorities of that State are unable, fail, or refuse to protect that right, privilege, or immunity, or to give that protection.”
That’s the same authority invoked during the civil rights era by Presidents Eisenhower and John F. Kennedy to deploy troops to the South to enforce desegregation in defiance of governors.
The Insurrection Act was last invoked in 1992 under President George H.W. Bush, after Peter Wilson, then-governor of California, requested help to quell widespread riots after four police officers charged in the beating of Rodney King were acquitted.
In 2005, after Hurricane Katrina devastated Louisiana and the Gulf Coast, President George W. Bush explored expanding the Insurrection Act to place command of the region's National Guard under federal control. Ultimately, Bush declined to invoke the act, although it was eventually amended in 2006 to broaden the scope under which the president may act under the law.
He went from tweeting several times a day to now basically nothing.
Even though he was banned from twitter there were and still are many available options for him to communicate as much as he wants. From the official gov website, to his campaign site, to the official youtube, to the any one several social platforms that would be glad to have him.
Crickets, all at a time when his supporters would like to hear from him most, feel abandoned, and are being attacked and banned on all sides.
Is he just going to do a short speech on Wednesday and that's it?
Spending the next four years aggressively trying to fix this broken system. Ban no voter ID, ban after Nov 3rd ballets, etc etc.
It's clear no election is safe from now on, but hopefully 4 years might be enough time to fix it.
Be a thorn in their sides and since establishment conservatives are spinless announce a third party while your at it.
I have several family members attending in support, but they are not aware of the resources, don't follow twitter or the organizers. They just want to go and support.
Can anyone point me to any posted schedule or list of resources regarding events, schedule, times, speakers etc for the 5th,6th etc?
I know that there will be people speaking on both days , but all the information I'm gathering is scattered. Is there any consolidated resource that shows everything?
Please help me understand or confirm.
I have recently heard that the house may infact vote according to delegations come Jan 6th.
This is significant because while there will be numerous objections it wouldn't matter as the house is democratic controlled.
However, according to the 12th amendment: "But in choosing the President, the votes shall be taken by states, the representation from each state having one vote; a quorum for this purpose shall consist of a member or members from two-thirds of the states, and a majority of all the states shall be necessary to a choice. "
Also from this history.gov article when Jefferson and Aaron Burr, the Republican candidates for President and Vice President, tied at 73 electoral ballots each. The House, under the Constitution, then chose between Jefferson and Burr for President. The Constitution mandates that House Members vote as a state delegation and that the winner must obtain a simple majority of the states. https://history.house.gov/Institution/Origins-Development/Electoral-College/
If the house votes according to delegation state by state they will have a republican majority as opposed to overall majority where Democrats lead.
Am I understanding this possiblity correctly?
Senator Josh Hawley officially state he'll object today which makes me wonder exactly how many members of congress we have total this far?
Or even assumed like Ted Cruz for ex..
Some may have heard about the recent discussion surrounding trump having bad advisors. Most of which stemming from a story in which S.Powell, Gen Flynn, P. Byrne met with trump in the oval office. With bad advisors basically controlling his every move and blocking them from seeing him.
I've been thinking about this and I'm just conflicted about a few things:
How is it that a man who "grabs em by the Pussy" can be so weak?
This is the same guy that got made fun of at the obama presidential dinner in 2015, then the next year literally took his job.
This is the same guy who has been RUNNING billion dollar companies his whole life with thousands of employees.
This is the same guy that built a real estate empire in one of the toughest cities in america.
This is also the same man, that climbed through all the weasels of politics to take its highest position, without having spent day in politics his whole life.
I can go on and on.
Point is, you dont do the things he's done without being a tough SOB.
You dont do these things then go and be yelled at by your advisors, blocked from seeing who you want to see ( as S. Powell states).
You dont get to where he's gotten by being a weak, manipulated, pacifist.
Who does what this man has done, then sits in his office being scolded and controlled like some child emperor?
P. Bynes, S.Powell, and Lin Wood who I respect have been promoting this narrative of Trump being surrounded by bad advisors and being blocked from them.
This man sees who he wants to see, and I have a hard time believing anyone tells him what to do. He's been dominating his whole life.
In recent days I've seen farther distancing between Trumps legal team and Sydney powell. https://twitter.com/seanspicer/status/1341165142164336640?s=20
In addition, i've seen Jenna Ellis take a solid stance against Trump using any executive action in regards to the elections.
https://twitter.com/JennaEllisEsq/status/1341264175549411331?s=20
She went farther in disagreement in that thread with many users ultimately siding that the Constitution is all that is needed to win, not executive action. In addition, that EO, insurrection is unconstitutional and would lead to something worse.
What I am not understanding is why the sudden disconnect with what seems to be the majority of peoples desires. In addition, what also represents the other end of the spectrum (Sydney Powell, Lin wood etc) i.e Executive action. Stories of S. Powell leaving the white house for days in a row. Patrick Byrne, General Flynn both attesting to large unrest within Trumps closest counsel etc. And now a clear division within Trumps closest allies. With one side advocating towards the Judicial Path, and the other advocating for the Executive Action path.
That The People believe that the courts are not working, and what good is the Constitution if the courts are not upholding the constitution. Jenna, as a constitutionalist believes wholeheartedly that the constitutionally supported Judicial system will right this wrong. And, is the ONLY path.
Sydney Powell and what looks like a growing, restless size of citizens no longer trust our judicial system and are looking to Trump to invoke his rightfully designated powers in order to uphold the Constitution.
Is this not concerning, and am I understanding this right?
