Not from oregon but I would point out, PDX metro is not that populated (1.4 million out of 4 million). All Rs need to do is do slightly better in PDX metro and then do really well in outstate and they have it. Buehler got close.

For everyone saying that Portland will keep Trump out of Oregon, remember that Portland is 400k of 4 million in the state. The suburbs are an additional million and they're fed up with Antifa rioting. Trump needs to catch up by 11%, which is a lot, probably too much unless he gets a really good popular vote win, but since UofO and OSU are virtual, Kate Brown is unpopular as fuck, and outside Salem, Eugene, Portland and Corvallis the state is getting redder, it's not impossible if trump wins the popular vote by 2-3

Sort of but remember Portland is only 350,000 of Oregon's 4 million people. The suburbs of Portland are an additional million and they are absolutely fed up with Portland which is by all accounts a fucking warzone
My sleeper is Oregon. The eastern and southwestern part of the state are rapidly shifting red (white and hispanic, blue collar) as is the coastal part. OSU and University of Oregon are mostly virtual bc of COVID. As a whole, Kate Brown's progressive environmental policies killed out-state Portland's economy, her one-handed approach to law enforcement has angered Portland and its suburbs, and obviously the state is in Phase 1 unless you want to burn down the local brewery or convenience shop in the name of communism (then just do whatever.) As a result, Kate Brown is the 4th most unpopular governor in America.

I think most people are relaxing here. Still an air of tension in Palm Beach (where I'm from) and the kids are pretty bluepilled (they think a full, statewide, no exceptions lockdown is the only way but then go and party LOL) but overall people have lost interest. The beach is pretty busy, people socialize a lot. We even have a family friend with terrible pre-existing conditions -- as much as I think this is overstated, I still believe she's at severe risk -- who just went to the store for the first time since March. Still the alarmists who think we need to lockdown but overwhelmingly people just want to get on with life.

And don't tell me that every single doctor in America is a part of some secret society that just fakes positive tests and deaths. There's obviously scams going on because deaths with COVID are liberally being counted as deaths FROM COVID. But doctors aren't faking positives and killing on purpose.
