I was 8 years old, the year, 1995. My mother was a bartender at the American Legion down on the lake and the bus would drop me off there after school where i'd play down by the lake until she was off work.
One day she calls me up to the bar. I go in, sit down, and there's this guy sitting there too. She introduces me to this guy and he talks to me for a bit then leaves out. On our way home that evening, she told me, "Son, that's your father." (i had believed until this point my pa was passed away when i was an infant)
I eventually spend some time with the guy. He had a stereo and would always put on rush. I loved it. couldn't get enough. 2112, moving pictures, hemispheres, all of it. I became hooked. Still am to this day.... also, I get this crazy story about how i met my father in a bar when i was 8.
