I think both sides have shitty people, they're just put under a magnifying lens by social media and corporate media (which basically gets all their stories from social media).
We're all building up an invisible enemy in our minds from these 'stories' which are powered by our emotions on what we're seeing, but we're only seeing what is being shown and what is being shown is sensational drama taken out of context most of the time.
What you should focus on is not on the biased drama from people on the other side, instead find intelligent people trying to discuss the issues and understand them instead of reacting to them like animals.
Another thing I'd recommend is to leave politics out of your mind until the start of the fall season because nothing will change until then to the narrative, it will just keep getting built on this shaky foundation. If you're already voting for Trump - spend your summer relaxing your mind away from politics - read some books, watch some interesting shows or documentaries, listen to podcasts or focus on your hobby, your work, your family.
If the noise is getting to you, take a break and come back to election season with a clear mind.

you get banned for literally writing neutral comments or jokes in context to the topic. all the users in the thread get banned as a collective if just one makes a slightly offensive comment. Then you get shadow banned on any new accounts you make unless you can get some positive karma - and the only way to do that now on that site is if you lick some tranny's asshole. Fuck that shit.
