This is a funny and very accurate analogy. I'd say this is quite almost the very same thing. Being rooted and content in reality is an enormous feat of self satisafaction. Porn is a lie. All vices are lies. Think about it: they trade temporary relief and satisfaction for permanent addiction and an incessant inability to deal with actual solutions for your needs, bringing shame and sorrow along the way to their inevitable path of hopelessness. It's not just the obvious vices either, such as porn and drugs or alcohol. Anger, laziness, apathy, greed, etc. all lead the same way, resolving nothing for you in the moments we choose them over an actual permanent solution for acaheiving true peace of mind.
The title of this post is perfectly well stated: We already know what happened and what he did, and his inability taking responsibilty for all of it is a clear sign of relapse. We all have pressures and distress. Not all of us become drug users. (He also seems implying that this is the first time he has ever done these acts...as if!)
