I think it would quickly be taken over by whichever the most organized faction that has the means to act quickly. If you watched ISIS in the early days- they were incredibly organized and quick. They had names and addresses. They moved at night, posing as police, and simply executed their targets.
With the number of angry combat veterans that the past 20 years our country has churned out, I could easily see a well organized militia here doing the same thing. The difference is that we have the Constitution, not the koran. I don't think a Constitutionalist motivated militia here would be quite as non-discerning as ISIS was.
Joy Reid recently called for the De-Baathification of us. Iraq did this several times, the most recently resulted in ISIS. How do you think that will actually turn out here? Imagine the military undergoes a political purge- that would be an immense gift to whatever opposition exists to the purgers.
