Centipedes,

I have written a few thoughts on our community and situation. I am persuaded that we should mobilize for a decade or more of struggle with the progressives. I say this irrespective of what may happen in November. It will take several successive presidential terms to clear out the rot.

In consideration of this timeframe, I think our community should organize for the future and further develop TheDonald as the hub of American Conservatism. Projects could include establishing a subforum on firearms and home defense, effectively connecting the realities of personal safety with the political struggle for our second amendment. I bet we could create an in-house forum for California gun owners working around silly laws and basically absorb the popular r/CAGuns subreddit. Another idea would be a job board for based patriots who don't want to go through HR brainwashing to work for some blue-haired Karen psycho. Or better still, a cell of genius autists who basically harass the fuck out of Correct The Record and other shills and provide reports/videos/recordings for our amusement.

The possibilities are endless. We just need to adjust our time horizon from November 2020 and start thinking about where we want to be in ten years. If Trump wins, he's going to need us bruising up the other side to get anything more done (thanks swamp). If he loses, we're back to where we were in 2015.. figuring out how to raise hell and get back in power. In any case, we should be sharpening our sticks.

  

Here's a rough draft of some loose ideas. I'd cut this way down, but it's getting late and I'll just slip it in raw baby.

 

*Section I -- Our Situation

• Our community is the last redoubt of American Conservatism. Our only hope of restoring the nation, irrespective of November's election results, is to expand and harden ourselves for the difficult and lengthy struggle ahead.

• "The Left" is out for blood and will not be content to simply vote every few years. The political contest has become not only a year-round sport but a total war. If you are not part of their cabal, you will be marginalized by society and then targeted for abuse. Your home, family, source of income, etc are all fair game.

• We are committed to this long-term culture war. There is no place to retreat to. This will not be over until one side has pushed the other from the mountain top. To this end, we must achieve a majority of 55% of the population to remove the modern Democratic Party machine from political relevance. If we commit to the hard work of the next several years and beyond, we may yet preserve our natural rights and liberties for generations to come.

• With our goal identified (building a political majority, recapturing the mainstream), we now need some things to work on. What are the attributes of a centipede swarm that make it so lethal?

 

Section II -- Qualities

• Fun -- The "je ne sais quoi" of what makes The Donald a phenomenon. If we lose our flavor and morale falls apart, we will not survive the next bump in the road. It does not matter how many recruits we have ("Length"), cock push-ups we've done ("Strength"), or ANTIFA terrorists we have put behind bars ("Pinchiness"). We cannot lose the soul of our excellence. As we develop initiatives on recruitment, content, enrichment and autism, we must take care not to become like the joyless slaves 24/7 phone banking for Biden. This is a party, not a two hour NPR beg-a-thon scheduled for the middle of rush hour.. damnit I just wanted to hear you bitches REEEEEEE about GEOTUS).

 

• Length -- Current headcount and growth trajectory. As an aside, I feel that Reddit's subscriber count was essential to our 2016 success. Constantly ticking upward, it was a constant source of motivation and good-feeling to our autists and meme farmers. Every milestone was an atomic "fuck you" to our detractors. More on this later.

 

• Strength -- The strength of the pack is the wolf.. or centipede. The stronger we are as individuals -- whether we're talking financially, morally, or in terms of literal ass-kicking power, the better off we all are. In that spirit, we should create a few topic-specific subforums and resources. There are 100% Grade-A certified geniuses in our midst, expert on topics ranging from business to fitness to home defense. What would life be like if you lost 10lbs, made 10k more bucks, and blew it all on a tricked out AR and some night vision goggles? Perhaps your neighbor's wife would see you roleplaying in the back yard and invite you in for zero dark thirty dirty.

 

• Pinchiness -- How autistic can we be? How effectively are we undermining the liberal agenda? Organization of overt counter-messaging, trolling, and spicy content delivery. Coordination of covert infiltration, espionage, sabotage, and sowing dissent. Thinking about the big picture -- how are we prying apart the odd bedfellows of the DNC umbrella? Sharia Law advocates vs. Wormkin Dragonsexuals? White anti-gunners vs. the numerous African Americans who just saw their neighborhoods destroyed?

 

Section III -- Representation, Organization, and Ideas

• To help our community grow and prosper, I propose creating a body of representative officers to serve as liaisons between the moderators and well... everyone else. They will take note of popular community ideas and suggestions, expand on them where necessary, and hold discussions with the moderators to get their perspective. In this way, the moderators' inboxes will be filled with actual site fixes and not suggestions for a my little pony theme on weekends.

 

• Gun club. We have a bunch of packing pedes -- law enforcement, military, Clint Eastwoods, etc. There are also a ton of new gun owners (like me) trying to learn shit. It is a slam dunk to establish a gun club and let new guys learn from old guys.

 

• Subforums on various topics to better organize the community. For example, what if a centipede wants to play video games or talk sports with other based individuals? Hell, I still like fantasy football even if I don't like all the political showboating. But the front page is no place for me to start talking about fantasy football! It would clutter up the place and folks would get aggravated.

 

• Subscriber count. Seeing growth in real-time was essential to scaling up TD in our previous form. It can be argued that Trump's victory had something to do with our massive subscriber count growth. I understand that our real numbers may not match with previous estimates/extrapolations (several million), hence the reluctance to implement this subscriber count. Nonetheless, I think we should pull off the band-aid. We love our moderators, we don't need a boo hoo explanation. It's time to implement a subscriber count and see the numbers growing.

• Joe Biden has just announced completely nuts gun regulation.
