Some Android phones are customized to disallow uninstallation of certain apps, but there are still ways to delete all the app data and disable the apps so they don't show up. Apple totally controls you and your experience. You are forced to use the apps they approve and they can remove apps from your phone that they don't like. Android cannot do this because it's open source. Also Google makes no money from Android itself, only from their bundled apps (including and especially the Google Play Store).

I'm not trying to tell you what to do, if you want to continue to live in smart phone prison be my guest. Maybe the prison guards will nice to you. But if you value the freedom to use your phone how you would like and continue to have access to all the popular apps then Android is the only choice.

Also a Samsung user. Make sure to allow app installation from unknown sources in the settings.

Android is open source and it already has a very popular fork with Amazon's Fire OS. There is no reason to use anything other than Android. Google makes no money from Android itself (only via the bundled Google apps including the Play Store), and they cannot stop you from installing 3rd party apps using the .apk method. Even though Google is just as evil as Apple, they at least give you freedom to do what you want with the OS they helped create.

I get that you are being sarcastic, but in a sense Google is definitely the better alternative because they don't make money from Android itself, which is open source, but rather from the bundled Google apps and the Play Store. Therefore they cannot stop you from installing 3rd party apps via the .apk file method and if they tried people would simply fork Android and everybody would switch to that.

I've never liked Apple because they prefer complete control over their customers while Google gives their users more freedom to make their own choices.

Android runs on Linux and is open source. That is why Google can never stop you from installing .apk files. Even if they tried someone else would just fork Android and everybody would switch to the fork.

You can still use apps on android. Just download the .apk file and install what you want. You don't need to use Google play store to install apps.

I don't have all the answers, but there is no reason to give up hope or stop following Trump's lead until he is forced out of power.

At this point hope is all we have. It costs us nothing to hold onto it, and we get nothing but misery if we let go of it. Thirteen more days to go and we will finally have all the answers.

But remember Trump's statement from 1/5 when he said that Pence and him were on the same page? I think Pence told Trump he would do the right thing and then Trump found out right before he was going to take the stage on 1/6 that Pence was going to betray him. Pence sent his letter while Trump was on the stage.

This never made sense as an official narrative. The Vice President has very little power other than breaking Senate ties and certifying electors. Pence has no power to call in the National Guard. The order has to come from either DefSec or Trump.

Violence is never the answer, they say, unless violence is used by protesters they like advocating for causes they like.

Read the statement again. It was very carefully worded. He never said it would be a transition of power. Just an "an orderly transition on January 20th." It can be interpreted either way. Mike Pompeo joked two months ago that there would be a smooth transition into a 2nd Trump Administration. You could compare Trump's statement to Pompeo's and they would not contradict each others.

I love Ted Cruz, but I thought people were saying that the reason he almost lost to Beta O'Rourke in 2018 was because he WASN'T that popular in Texas. Maybe it was just voter fraud?

You take a penny from the tray, don't you? This is the same thing, except we do it a few millions times across multiple states. What's the big deal?

It's the exact opposite actually. Chronic negativism leads to consistent failure. Nobody succeeds at anything unless they first believe they can succeed. Why do you think Trump keeps projecting big confidence even in the face of extraordinary odds? Part of it is that he knows things we do not, that's true, but part of it is because he is a winner and he knows that you must believe you can win before you actually make it happen.

At work so cannot listen to whole AZ hearing. Did they confirm the seizure or just the fact that data packets went to Frankfurt? Did they confirm that the military got the servers? Did Sidney ever say that the "good guys" got the servers?

You have my upvote, even though I am on the fence about Q being real (not saying you believe in Q, no idea, doesn't matter). I do hope the Frankfurt servers seizure is true because right now that is the only way I can see Trump winning at this point.

Get this post to the top. Way to much doom and gloom on the stickied SCOPA thread.

So what's the counter-argument then? That there really wasn't a bunch of people who were secretly communist that hid it until they got into power? Like John Brennan? Like just about every liberal congressman who promised he/she's a moderate until he/she gets elected and then immediately starts voting for socialist policies?

McCarthy was sold in my history class as some paranoid boogieman, but in hindsight he looks like he was right all along. That's not me being baited by anybody right now, that's just what I believe. But I'm willing to listen to counter-arguments if you've got a good one.

I think many here are resisting your spin on Solomon because we are attracted to the parallel between Adonijah and Biden, and the corresponding idealistic parallel between the rightful King Solomon ordained by God and playboy billionaire Donald Trump. My understanding is that King Solomon started out as a very good king, but then allowed himself to be led astray.

https://bibleproject.com/blog/solomon-love-hate/

I find this tidbit from the link interesting.

His name is derived from the Hebrew word for “peace” (pronounced “shalom”), and peace, as a matter of fact, is one of the things he’s remembered for. There were no major wars for the majority of his reign, and the biblical authors look back on this time as a period of abundance:

“So Judah and Israel lived in safety, everyone under their own vine and fig tree, from Dan to Beersheba, all the days of Solomon.” – 1 Kings 4:25

Obviously this is another parallel that we can compare with Trump. Solomon also was known for building God's Temple, which apparently God was pleased with because His presence filled it in the form of a cloud. Trump of course built the embassy in Jerusalem. Then there is the parallel between Solomon's famous wisdom (that he asked God for and was given) and the wisdom of Trump, where many of us here believe he is playing 3D chess to outwit his opponents.

Yet perhaps we shouldn't take the parallel too far? I certainly hope that President Trump doesn't stray from peace and abundance while honoring God to the idolatry and wickedness that Solomon eventually succumbed to.

In the end, is it not possible that Solomon was restored in the eyes of the LORD? Many biblical scholars believe he wrote the book of Ecclesiastes, where the author laments the meaninglessness of earthly pleasures and recognizes God's judgment in the end. Perhaps this was a sign that Solomon repented of his wickedness before his death? Perhaps his faith was credited to him as righteousness, like with the many described in Hebrews 11.

Yes! This has been going on for several election cycles. Obama was never that popular! I think the only difference is that this time they needed to cheat magnitudes of order more than they ever did before. But it doesn't matter as long as we can fix it now and get Trump reelected. But if we fail then there is no longer any peaceful recourse. If they can get away with this much cheating then they will have the green light to cheat every future Republican in every future election indefinitely.
