Have to disagree with you guys on this one. This is a small city (Coral Gables) near Miami. Protest was 100% peaceful. Old people, young, and all races. The police were free to share a moment and communicate with their fellow citizens however they wanted to. Now . . . responding to violence is something else entirely, and that isn't what this was. It takes a strong human/officer to be able to switch between holding someones hand or deescalating a situation, and running down an armed felon. The same person being able to do both is why being a good police officer is a much harder job than people realize.

He "can't recall" if anyone connected the DNC hack with Russians. Amazing. He can't recall the only allegation of alleged Russian government interference in our election. The thing 17 intel agencies supposedly said happened. This thing we sanctioned Russia for.
As people on this sub know (despite media saying otherwise), the Russian internet companies buying ads on Facebook were not alleged to be connected with the Russian government. Even the Nation wrote an article about that. At least Gowdy looks a little ashamed.
The only partially good thing that might be said is that Gowdy seems to be ashamed. But inexcusable and embarrassing that he "can't recall" if anyone connected Russia with the hacking of the DNC, i.e. the only allegation of Russian interference that he is so confident about.
