Ah Corrine Brown. Scum of the earth there.
It does... and it doesn't. Since the code would be audit-able by anyone, while yes if there are poorly written sections they would be easier for those with ill intent to find, they would also be easier for security researchers to find and get fixed.
Proprietary source makes it far easier to hide vulnerabilities in code.
Same for me.
I couldn't find any real news about what was going on there anywhere on the major news sites or on reddit. I kept looking and found the T_D because they were the only ones covering it. Stayed around for the memes, the heli rides, and general fun until reddit threw us out because their chinese overlords demanded it.
Mostly just lurk, and make the arrows go orange.
It's Miami and Sarasota that aren't using the standard reporting. Both Pinellas and Hillsborough (The two counties that contain the majority of Tampa and it's suburbs, like St. Pete) are reporting the same as the rest of the state.
Edit: Oh and Sarasota is about as red as can be.
The data is based on registration. So the votes themselves haven't been counted yet, it's just the counting of how many registered democrats, republicans, and unaffiliated voters have currently cast a vote. Florida keeps data on that, and makes it publicly available with regular updates.
Keep your head down up there. Nova is so filled with TDS/Swamp it's started overpowering the rest of the state.
I used to do the same up in Arlington. Switched out jobs to a remote position based out of Chicago. Live in Florida now and get to watch Trump boat parades in town. Best decision ever.
Makes me wonder how they'd do with the capitols of NY, Cali, Florida, and Illinois...
They did the same type of thing in Florida when the beaches reopened in Jacksonville. National news ran with 'stock' images and videos of Jax Beach, covered in people, that were taken before the corona virus. Local news even ran a story about it using drone footage they recorded showing a nearly empty beach.

Exactly. I go in early. I get a paper ballot, I vote, I have it scanned by the tallying machine (offline) and then the ballot gets put in a box.
I just switched to No Party Affiliation in Florida from Republican. It's a bittersweet feeling, but I feel like this is likely the only thing that they will understand. I'm done with them.
