This. This and this. Alt video sites are gonna fail if its just alt right content... it needs general content. Honestly, most mature game content makers are looking for a place. A place that welcomes cussing, showing bikini girls and violence in video games without fear of getting in trouble. Im 100% a lot of content makers are stressed out everyday.. making sure they dont say something wrong or show something that would get them in trouble.
But.. in order to attract general content makers. It needs 2 things.
- monetization
- large audience pool.
But the one thing that would attract content makers is equality. Meaning that the algorithm should not just be promoting the same assholes each time. Maybe.. search function should by default be by date uploaded. YT currently just shows what is "in". Screws over the tens of thousands of vid makers.
Gotta convince non-political channels to move as well... alt video platforms wont survive with just alt right vids. Mature gaming channels (cussing, sexiness, violent gamr content) for example. Im 100% sure a lot of gaming content makers are sick of youtube's ever increasing restrictions and bullshit. Every fucking year it gets worse and worse. Cant say or show what you want without trouble.. and if you run into trouble and are not partnered or big channel, you are fucked with no assistance/help.
I still think we need influential people or youtubers to organize mass protest outside of YT headquarters (or even the HQ of other social media) to get the party started.
