gold/ silver are not useless. they have been used as currency for thousands of years through societies evolution since the beginning of time. everytime there is a currency reset it is always reset back to a gold based currency. we've printed ourselves to oblivion. hyperinflation wont happen tomorrow, next year, or even in 10, but its probably coming sooner than any of us realize. if you look at the public balance sheets of all central banks they are hoarding more gold than anything else. it is valuable. bitcoin is as well, however in this circumstance where the power would go out globally, than sure, it would be useless.

agreed, if we had a strong central culture that everyone assimilated to, with a relatively small amount of minorities that would be fine, however that is not what we have. even in the UK they have less than 10% immigrants and its causing problems. mostly due to difference in culture but culture is ultimately decided by race. Yet at the same time there are plenty of great societies or empires that fell from within due to fighting amongst those of the same race/culture.
